This cute bear came to our hospital in very bad shape. See PIC 1.
The other pics show the whole process that takes many days until the last PIC shows Snowball ready to go home!
RESTORATION PROCESS
PIC 2: The stuffing is removed to replace it later with newer, fast drying stuffing.
PIC 3: Torn suede paws are removed.
PIC 4: Broken eyes are removed.
PIC5: Bathing process starts. It takes several soaking sessions in mild soap to remove the dirt accumulated from years
PIC 6: Snow Ball hangs to air dry (no stuffing, no eyes, no paws)
PIC 7: New suede paws
PIC 8: Inside stitches have to be redone. Poor bear had holes and torn stitches everywhere!
PIC 9: Re-embroidering nose and adding him a smile (his mouth was gone)
PIC 10: New stuffing
PIC 11: Special metallic brush is used to bring the fur back to life (we don't recommend to use it unless you are trained to do it, as severe damage to the fur can happen
PIC 12: Snow Ball is ready! New stuffing, he is all soft and huggable. New ribbon to go back to his Mommy!
